What The American Dream Means to Me

What does the American Dream mean to you? I realize that it will mean different things to different people; that's ok. To me the American Dream means to have freedom,  pride in country, beautiful healthy family, good income, nice neighbors of all nationalities, freedom to worship. Today all of that is hard to find. But me, I think I have about all of it. My parents give me freedom, I have pride in my country, I have  beautiful healthy family, good income, and sort of nice neighbors. My family and I have worked hard to receive the good income we have and my grandparents have worked hard to give us the freedom we have. My family has taught me the value of hard work, and I believe I am a hard worker. I work hard for what I got and what I want. I go to school full time, I work as a CNA full time and I manage to get anything that needs to be, done. I have went through hard times but I have managed to reach the dream as a collage kid. I am able to have anything I want with the job I have and my wonderful parents. I have a roof over my head, I am well fed, I have the car I have always wanted, and I have a wonderful boyfriend to help me with every step through the way. Some people say dreams will eventually turn into smokes and ashes and will be lost, but that is not how I see it.
